Retrospection
: 2011-12
Dear Friends,
The end of the academic year 2011-12, witnessed
the grand success of our Third Year students, Ms. Sheetal Chand Bheda and Ms.
Sharmeen Shaikh achieved distinction in their Final Examination. The Department
also organized a One Day National Conference on Carbon Credit: Roles &
Responsibilities,’ successfully with an overwhelming response.
The department organized a number of activities in the
last academic year for the students- highlighting various environmental issues.
The depiction of ‘environment’ by the students through various creative ideas; exhibited
during Science Exhibition in the form of posters & models, nature
paintings, crafts from waste etc., were much appreciated by the guests. Co-curricular
activities such as field visits & guest lectures were also conducted to provide
a good exposure to recent trends in the field of Environmental Science.
